“In the home” and how people really “cut the apron strings”

It’s funny how parents want their kids to feel like a family in their own home, restricting them from the outside world.

However, they take practices from other families and apply them to their own, just because they are afraid those families will hurt them if they don’t. They’re bad practices, too, though!

Seems like “an unlikely story.”

Do you ever feel pressured…

…that you don’t ever spend time with young people unless they’re your own kids?

…but remember you always would love to? though everyone seemed giddy and uptight and just turned their backs on you and closed their doors? Do people say you did nothing? and it’s your fault? Are people even racist towards you and make your potential dysfunctional? There must be a chance in there somewhere, right?

Germans and Their Classical Heros? Beginning with Bach, mostly?

I’ve been featuring here posts on classical music and dancing Germans.

Did you know everyone in Germany thinks they know more about classical music than the top musicians in the US because it is close to their heart? Germans made a lot of breakthroughs, too, like in science, like the Russians.

Being More German

It seems people with more German-American have it better than other Americans, I’m guessing if you don’t have a good Norwegian or Swedish mix. Some have white hair or did as children. The brunettes have a signature look, like a bouncy bob or sleek medium/length. German-American girls tend to be spastic.

I’m guessing people of other ethnicities who are attractive keep going.

Classical Music in the US?

Rogers and Hammerstein … Lerner and Loewe

They made musicals for America, though they have things like German and Jewish heritage. Musical theater is different from classical music, though.

People seem to think it’s okay to cut music from schools, but then they expect their parents to know how to teach about music but not other things strangely. My parents weren’t classical musicians.
